Dr. Rick Collins grew up in Commerce, GA. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He had a general dental practice in Dalton, Georgia before returning to the Medical College for his orthodontic residency. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Georgia Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Collins and his wife, Barbara, have a son, Dax, and daughter-in-law Sarah, and a daughter, Ansely. Dr. Lindsey is teaching him to fly and Dr. Collins loves his tractors, his computers and bad puns.
